hmmmm got any clue where the other end is connected? it could possibly (doubt it tho) be the piece that connects to the intake hose. if that gets disconnected your car will run very very rough but most likely it wont run at all, or itll stall every 2 seconds.

as for the hose it goes to the intake box rite there in red , it appears to be busted off, tha plastic piece is still in the hose no? and for your leak you need to replace the rubber o-ring in there ,just unbolt the dizzy n pull it out. unless your valve cover leaks. but try reconnecting that hose n check your idle.

1....if your leaking around the valve cover gasket and the distt mounting gasket, the c gasket is 15 bucks, do not tighten much when replacing, and the disty mounting gasket is 1.99.....easy as hell to install and fix..

NOW AS FOR THE REASON YOUR CAR IS EFFED UP....
your spark plug wires arent installed in the correct spots on your distributor, check out a pitcure of wich plug wire goes where, that will fix your problem...

Sounds pretty right on. A lot of people think that problems like these are linked to weird crap, but it has usually been in my experience an issue with something in between the distributor and the engine itself; I.E. cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs.

i am a geneous....also, you have to find a picture of a motor like yours, and find out the "firing order" wich plug wire goes where on the cap, and on the head.

it goes to that hole on your air intake box im guess, try it...and there is a post under the pics and immages sessions where people post pics of motors in the "show pics of your engine bays" one, look around for it. maybe someone else might know it.

check for another open hose along your firewall or something, idk man, if you can get a better picture let me know, like an up close of the hose so we can see what it looks like and maybe where the other end connects to.
