ok, well i have read the exhaust faq i understood most of it. my situation is that i need to change my cat back so i was planning on doing 2.25' all the way from the flex pipe to the muffler. now im aware that i will lose some torque but will gain more speed while im driving 100+km/h . i have a k8 1.8 and im planning on doing a swap next summer ze or de. but i need to change my exhaust now and i dont wanna get stock ones then end up chaging them when i do the swap. it also says in the faq that if your car opperates at a 2000-3000rpm powerband then get narrow pipes, the mx's power band is at 3800-5400 rpm. so wouldnt it be best to go larger but not a whole lot. thats why im leaning towards a 2.25' its bigger but not a whole lot for the k8. what do u guys think...?

thanx in advance....
