Hi,

the power windows work great when it the weather outside is below 20C.

When the weather is over 20C outside, my windows stop working and it
takes awhile befor it works again.

I was going home yesterday and windows would'nt go up .
I had to drive around until the windows work so i could close them LOL!

The switch seems fine when i checked for power so i don't know whats going on.
Anyone have the same issue?

This might not be a related issue but when I first bought my car it had been sitting for a year. Every now and then the drivers side window would not go up. All it required was playing around with the switch untill it started moving again. It hasn't done that in months now.

Maybe it needs to be cleaned/lubed? I probably just eventually worked the filth out of it by using it.

Either the motor(s) are going bad or it could be a bad ground. Check where the motor grounds inside the door and make sure its not corroded and is making good contact with the metal surface.

Thanks Tunes67,
i will look at the ground.

It happens to both windows.
When the drivers stop working, the passenger stops aswell.

Should i check both motors?

I believe the passenger window is fed through the drivers switch somehow. Mybe its just the lockout switch on the drivers side control. I know that sometimes my passanger window does the same thing and I have to rock the lockout switch a couple of times to get it working.
