I use it, recommended by the guyw ho painted my car, just use basic Sunlight, not hard on the paint, removes grime and grease, and is not a fine polish like most paints.

Vtec-this is right it is NOT good at all to use any house hold stuff to clean your car as the dish soap especially will strip any of the cars protection from sun UVs off and remove all wax protection or enamel protection that the cars paint has trust me its not a good idea.

not only that, the dish soap also leeches the oils out of your paint, giving you that flat no-shine after a few weeks, and forget about rain water beeding and rolling off your car. DO NOT USE DISH SOAP!. at worst, use a "wash-n-wax" type product. best way to go would be plain ol water. after that, if you are still not satisfied with the result of just using water, then it's time to wax. if wax doesn't restore the finish, then polish AND THEN WAX!! polish removes oxidation and other nasties from your paint much like a clay bar, but you MUST re-apply a protective coating of wax to the paint after polishing.

again...DO NOT USE DISH SOAP TO WASH YOUR CAR!!!!!
