Also need help on tires

Ive done plenty of searching through this website and others, and still don't know what route is best to take for the new rims I just got.

Its a '95 RS upgrading from stock 14" steels to 15x7 American Racing Alloys. Since this is my first time buying non-stock tires for a car (I drove a minivan for the first 5 years of driving...yeah, family giveaway car) I am unsure of what tire will best fit me.

I am only planning on putting summer tires on these rims, as I still have my stock rims and will be putting a full set of snows on them. I do not think all weathers are good enough tires in an area that constantly has fresh falling snow/ cold temperatures as this will car will be my daily driver at school. With that in mind, I want a moderate performance tire size, but nothing too crazy. I know that sidewall strength has ALOT to do with cornering / handling and I want to find the best tire for moderately hard driving. (Fun roads near where I live)

My range is from 195/50 to 205/55 I believe that will give me the best results. Are the 195/50's too small?

Thanks for all input!

(Sorry I tend to be long winded!)

205 or maybe even a 215 will work well, but let the tire shop tell you what size to get. I suggest Kumho for the price or I liked the Falken Azenis in the 115 trim. I recently chaged over the Falken Azenis 615 and love them, but they are a short life tire with aswesome street traction and probably not what you want.
