Hey I finally installed my fmic today and the turbo has gotten louder any reasons for this

louder whinine like?
Sounds like a boost leak.

how the spool up time compare before and after intercooler ? LIke nos said, boost leak could be a problem

The car accelerates noticeably better and will spin the tires faster in first gear also in the higher gears i dont have to press the accelerator as hard to get it going

Does it whine when you start to hit full boost, or will it do it at idle. If it only whines while under full boost its a boost leak close to the compressor housing.

what company had a front mount intercooler for the mx3? and what did it run you$ ?

check all of your fittings for a leak...thats probably the problem
