wrap around spoiler question

I finally got a wrap around spoiler! But as I was looking closely at pictures of other mx-ers with this spoiler I cannot tell if it is missing something. On the extra screw holes on the "arms" of the wing is there supposed to be a cover that goes over that?
So I would greatly appreciate it if somebody with this wing, run out to your car and look and see and let me know!
Or better yet take a picture of what the little cover looks like (if it exists).
here's what I'm talking about:

Does anyone have an extra set they want to donate?

I was missing mine also. I went to mazda and ordered another set and they came color matched and with the screw. It cost $12 cdn for the new ones, that is what I would do if it was me.

thanks Jeff that's good info - now we're getting somewhere... I am not sure if the mazda dealer in Memphis can order those since those spoilers were only available in Canada... but I shall try!
you wouldn't happen to have a part number??

I know if you take the spoiler off you will have about 7 holes in the rear from where the bolts go into the car to keep the spoiler on.

Let me know what you find out MoonEggs. I just got a wrap around too. It came with the covers, but they are dry and look pretty rotten. A MOCA member sais they are not available here (just the covers), but I would like to ask myself to make sure.

I know you said they are rotted but could you post a pic? If I can't find any to buy I might be able to just make something to cover it... I'd like to see how it clips in...

Just like it would seem. A slightly curved plastic face with two tits on the bottom that are J shaped to grab onto the metal. I'll post some pics later, but send me a PM if I forget throught the workday. I would think they would be hard to duplicate. That was my first thought since Justin of MOCA needs a set too. But the two sidedness and the little plastic tits would be hard to do. I would need a urethane mold, which I've not tried yet. Guess no time like the present to try it. Should be cheap enough and the urethane mold would hold up to a limited production. Hope McMaster-Carr has something for me as I wouldn't know where else to buy the soft casting urethane.
Mine was missing it too..

I was at my local mazda dealer and got a bit of info for these spoiler parts
Hole Plugs : 51-034 or E040-51-985BPZ $11 Ea.
Hole Screw Receptacle : 51-965C
Hole Plug Grommet : 51-9M2
Front spoiler seal : 50-794 or E040-50-794 $18
Rear spoiler seal : 51-985 (passenger & drivers side) 50-8131 (center rear) (sorry dont have the Cost for these)
You will need to call a canadian dealership and order any of these items. If your missing other items.. I have other part numbers for the mounting hardware as well.
Also.. you can still buy this as an entire kit brand new from Mazda of Canada. The part # for the whole kit (does not include the hole plugs or grommets) is 51-950.
Cheers

the easiest way to do the wrap around spoiler is to take a '94+'s hatch and just replace the whole thing lol. my buddy did it and it looks great plus the hatch had a tinted window so free tint haha
