Dont expect too much of a response. What your asking is personal.

Its considered in the same way as a plumber or electrician but its pretty clean. It all depends on what you do in the field. Some people do installations and that can be pretty dirty because you have to demolish old units and ductwork and gas lines, etc. I did that for a year and a half but it was great to learn. Then you have guys that only do ductwork and thats a very clean job but repetitive. Its pretty easy also and depending on your experience you can make lots of money. Then there are service technicians (like me) that go to fix existing units that are not working. If you have experience and are hard working you can make alot of money and its clean because you pretty much work on electrical problems like wiring or broken contactors and other things like that. You basically just have to know how to read a schematic and know how to use a voltmeter. Honestly I'm very happy that I got into this field, 4 years ago I was working at the mall doing nothing with myself making $8.50USD/hour. Now I make great money with paid benefits while most of my friends are still making small change, no benefits, and smokin blunts. Not too bad for only 4 years time if you ask me, I would definitely research and look into it around your area.
