So I was browsing the net and I stumbled over the RX-8 Shinka and about died over the color.




It's Mazda's Black Cherry Mica.

What color would you guys repaint your MX-3?
I'm interested in seeing some colors here!

I havent actually picked my new paint color yet.. but I will be going with a dark deep maroon or burgundy metal flake of some sort. That black cherry is nice.. but a little too purple for me. I dont much like the stock Blaze Red my GS is now.. too bright.. too noticeable.. too... "I was going how fast, officer?" They should have just called it Arrest me Red But I still want to keep it a red of some sort so its a two tone red color when the engine bay is exposed.

My '95 is chaste white with some kind of "auto armor" trademarked clearcoating. Has held up pretty well over the 12 years - esp w/no garage. When time for a repaint I want a change but not too much. '95 Nissan 300ZX came in a softer white base coat w/a subtle silver metal flake. That's what I want to repaint it to match. Has almost a mother-of-pearl effect fwiw.

I would paint my car some reallty clean solid black, or a really thick blue.

Rx-8 Phantom Blue Mica. Too bad they only came out with that color for '07, cause I got my car repainted before it came out, otherwise I would of done it, i fell in love with that color as soon as i saw it

The Mazda CX-9 comes in a color called "Sparkling Black Mica" I think i am going to re-paint my MX-3 that black instead of just getting a newer version Brilliant Black done.

I also really like Stormy Blue Mica

You know, Mazda is STILL using the brilliant black up to this current year. That's kinda cool. but black looks amazing when it's not flat. I bet that black mica would look wonderful on the MX-3

I think everyone loves taking pictures of their miata's, cuzz if there is a color I wanna look up, it's on that damn car!

Winning Blue Mica from RX8/Mazda 3 or else that copper from a Nissan Murano.

I'd go with the Silverfrost color from my former car, 99 Mercury Cougar.... such a beautiful color...

my choice would be... the light blue mazda 3 color
