I have a 1995 mx3 rs 1.6 dohc and I am looking for a shop that can and will do a 1.8 dohc turbo swap into my vehicle. I have researched and it seems to be easy but i live in a apt. so no go for me to do. I have talked to alot of ppl and I haven't found a shop that knows sh** about mazda. If anyone knows of a specialist in mx3's i would really appreciate some help.

Thanks

that's a little bizarre i must say, you have a 1.6, either get a bpt, or maybe a klde, or klze in, then it would make much more sense to do the swap... just a thought.

The only thing bizarre is that lots of ppl act like they know but they really don't know ****. I am still looking for a shop and complete drivetrain. Even just a drivetrain and I will figure the rest out.

well my personal info states that i live in mississauga but any shop in the gta would be great...and I realize that there are posts about the bp or bpt swap and I have read them but I need a source on a engine and I would like to find a shop that has experience with this swap, so if anyone can refer me to one that is great...

I have read and searched so I don't need advice on that...but thanks anyways

do i dont mean to burst ur bubble but the bpt swap in the dohc 1.6 isnt a direct swap, you have to hack the harness...

I am pretty sure that if i have the bpt engine harness i don't have to hack anything......i don't hack
