Quick Tire Size Question

Post by Bochek »

Allright i picked up some Konig BrightLite 16's from GoodWinRacing.com

16x7 40mm offset.

There going onto a 93 RS.

I would like to stay close to stock tire maby a bit on the bigger side.

So what size tire?

Yep, i have used this "calculator" before. Its a great tool.

Im still a little on the dumb side when it comes to what width of tire to go with.

What fits on a 7 inch wide wheel? 205? 215? 225?

wow that tire calculator is really useful! It gives insight to find how far off my speedo might be with aftermarket rims and tires!

thanks for posting!

Wouldn't go above 215, or you might get too close to the strut.

Here's a better calculator, that gives you a visual representation and butt-load of other specs.

Oh, and as far as tire width that will fit, since tires flex, you can fit a decent range. Probably from 195 to 225.
