Funny how this happens. I have the KLZE, now 50 % of the time she runs fine, and then sometimes she starts fine, but as soon as I touch the gas (In gear) the engine bucks, like it dies out. Yesterday it was going fine, then she started bucking, I had to pull off the road. I shut her down (Mistake) to look under the hood, and then it toke me 30 min to get her restarted. I made it home fine. Then I went back out an hour later, drove 500 m and she started to buck again. I need this car to drive me 500 km on Friday. Help.

sounds like distributor to me... well. ignition coil inside the ditsy. when it's not starting for those 30 minutes, did you check for spark?
Hmmm Coil

No I did not check for spark. However so what you guess would be the ignition coil. Any idea what to get for a KLZE, whats my best bet.
If someone could give me a list I will buy the parts.
Thanks

there is a "sticky" for HEI mode. Similar problem to what I had and it fixed it.
If you do the blaster coil you will need 2 power towers, not one.

buy a new distributor, the coil itself cannot be replaced without getting the whole bit. that's all you need. you can buy one for the v6 mx-3, it bolts on the ZE. otherwise you could do like twoie suggests and mount an external module, but when i had problems i just replaced my ditsy, which comes with a lifetime warranty... make sure you mark where the ditsy is now, so you don't have to worry about the timing, and make sure you put the new one in where the old one used to be. might as well check for spark too before you do anything. no spark = buy a new ditsy

So does that mean buy a new Ignition Distributer ? Would it not be cheaper to go after market ? I see a new distributer costs like 429.00 CDN.
