car wire?

hey guys im not that great with wiring but not that bad either. i was looking into doing a hei mod for my car got basically everything but ran across something i couldnt figure out. it says on project mazda to use 16awg "car specific wire" and not speaker wire. i went looking around is there another name for car wire or something. all i saw at radio shack was hookup wire, telephone, and audio wire. thanks for any help im still learning.

Go to a auto parts store and you'll find it easily. I buy it by the role form Auto Zone. I would suggest getting both black and red (usually the only two colors they have, but if they have others then get one of each). Then you can use colored electrical tape from Home Depot so that you keep the wires color coded and don't confuse them. I run a loop of tape both ends of each wire with a different color, or two colors if you run out of options.
