i'm getting a v6 mx3 this weekend. i never liked nos, but since this v6 engine is just to playaround with i was woundering of doing a direct port nitrous on to the v6. i want to do this cuz i got a klze just sitting in my mx6. the mx6 done work( electrical problems) and before i blow the k8 engine i want to put on nitrous. my brother has a 50 shot of it just sitting at his house. he is willing to install it in my mx3. so will it be able to handel it? i heard all i do is drill three holes on the manifold legs and thats it. so will the engine be able to hold the nitrous pressure?

if you are doin direct port you need 6 nozzles and some type of fuel mgmt.

and what are the 3 holes in the top for, to put the nozzles into?
Quite frankly, that idea might work nicely, but then it wont be true direct port.

How do you mean that?
The Installation is not so difficult, I´ve installated it unvisible in black-hose, so it´s not so interesting on the pictures....shooting on my "stock" K8 is 75PS

so that is a wet nitro system ?
I am also interested in getting my K8 with some NOS, but it will wait for a while ... there are things to be done first

Yep, direct port is wet (injecting fuel along with nitrous oxide). Most engines will handle a 75 shot without a problem. X shot = the amount of wheel hp you're adding. so 75 shot is 75 extra ponies. You'll make more than X out of a turbo application though so the "shot" number is just kind of a guide. Make sure you have safety equipment, ie a digital window switch, electronic WOT switch, bottle warmer would help....etc all that fun stuff.

If nitrous kit's were cheap here, i would put it with no hold back's :)
But the can get expensive, since a person need's , big bottle , bottle warmer, good instalation , Nitrous recharge's , Nitrous kit .. add all that and that's a big mod ...
