i herd that a civic front bumper can fit on our cars and also wanted to know what year makes. And also the front lips from civcs look like they will fit on the stock bumper (without the GS lip) to use in place of the gs lip is it true or faulse THANX!

ive seen civic frontson mx3s but personally i think its very very very stupid, once u have it then ull put on the civic lights and ur car will look like a civic, now why would anyone want to do that, no offence to civics, but if u want ur car to look like one, just go buy one.

a civic lip wouldn't look all that great on an mx3 anyways, i dont know but i'd try looking for an mx3 lip before looking for other solutions

I have the same problem...

It's so hard to find that lip, that we start looking aftermarket lips from other makes.

I wonder if Ford Puma will be good...

do you see that picture ?
it is a Mazda MX-3 with a front bumper made for a Honda Civic!
If you look closely, he custom fitted just a tiny upper half of the stock MX-3 bumper to the aftermarket Civic bumper so that it blends in with the MX-3 body and headlights without further accomodating elements from a Civic's face. So yes, Civic fronts can be closely fitted to the MX-3 (I don't know which generation of Civics though) but with modifications to that aftermarket bumper.

That's a good starting point.
Aftermarket civic's front bumpers are similar. So we just have to weld the lower civic's part to the upper mx3 part and all the rest will be good, like around the weel.

is that for real?

there's only so many different generations of civics (9??)
anyone know what year of civic that bumper in the picture was for?

His forum name is mbguy- he is selling his car and has taken off this bumper, I know it is not in perfect condition but he has fit it already for an mx-3 and if he still has it, might be willing to sell it to you.

its gone

nah man that front and rear i had on that car is gone. stock front and back are on it now since im selling the car. but it was a 92-95 honda civic buddy club1 front. just trimmed the civic headlight part out and molded it to the top 6 inchs of my stock bumper. thats it. didnt want any civic headlights on my car. love the mx3 ones. back bumper was off an integra "I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ONE" way to much work for that integra back bumper. also a 98 dodge neon front is very very close to the mx3 all u have to do is trim out the small circle headlight part out to be a lil longer and it will fit the mx3. i did that with my brother kit off his 98 neon. so alot easier with a 98 neon kit.
