Alt just went on my ZE. I'm pretty sure the shop swapped over the K8 one when they did the engine swap.
Just wondering if I should buy a new K8 alternator or go with a millenia one?
93-96 i think the years for the 110amp?
I know the millenia bracket is different so if the shop did in fact swap my K8 alt over (i'm 90% sure they did) would I need a new millenia bracket in order to install a millenia alt?
Or would it be a lot easier to just buy a K8 alt and replace?

Millenia alt is better, k8 one will do good but why not upgrade? The millenia one will have a 3 pin plug. I just asked about this a few weeks ago.

i'd like to upgrade. just need to get my hands on one. was gonna order off the net but I need one today unfortunatly. My calling around hasnt found me one yet and I won't make the junkyard before they close. Might just have to settle with a rebuilt K8 alt

For the same price as a rebult from crappy (about $325 last i checked) you can get yours rebuilt and tell them you want it 110amp..hell even do 130 if you want!
