Second that. Check you brake fluid reservoir. Also check your brake calipers, are they seized and leaking fluid? I had this similar problem.

Third that. As your brake pads/shoes wear over time, the fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir also goes down. When it goes low enough, that light comes on the dash as a warning to check the fluid level. Usually first notice lighting up during quick accel/hard stops/hard turns cuz your low brake fluid is triggering the sensor at those times.

Most likely its just your fluid level.. in fact if you did your brakes a few months ago.. your pad level may have worn down a bit since then.. when this happens the caliper piston stays extended from the caliper housing further.. when this happens the fluid level slowly goes down as the piston is further extended until eventually there is a need for more brake fluid in the system. Pretty much what Neutral said LOL
