AB - MX-West xmas Dinner

Post by wyldside »

Dinner location chosen:
Misai Japanese
#7, 1916 32 Ave NE
Calgary, AB (it's in a bit of strip building on the South side of 32ave)

Monday, Dec 18th @ 7:00pm

Reservations under "MX-WEST"

All Alberta members, we would like to figure out where we should go for our xmas dinner gathering. Sorry for taking so long to plan this but I've had some many things on the go lately. I was thinking that it might be easier to get together on something random, like a Monday night. Trying to find a weekend where everyone is not busy at this time of year is next to impossible. I would like to take poll of what choices people would be up for. Cactus Club, Misai Japan (they have awesome sushi), Old Spaghetti Factory, Joey Tomatoes, or something else. So let's say, Monday, Dec 18th @ 7:00pm. Let's just choose the venue and please let me know if you can make this time slot. I'm sure I would have to make reservations for our group.

Man the good Old Spaghetti Factory, I always go to the one in Banff, I am there a lot cuz I love Banff actually I was there on Friday lol, but its easier for me to go to the one there because the parking lots near Eau Claire aren’t very much fun for my car, but now that I am done my little rant about Banff… I think that Misai Japan would be fun and something new, for me anyways lol

Well Misai is in the NE. I have been to many Sushi places in the city and their Sushi is definitely the freshest I've ever seen. They have many other great things on the menu besides sushi. Lots of awesome Japanese foods to choose from. Mmmm... I'm getting so hungry just thinking of it. :P

Yes, living in the South is a very bad excuse. I don't live inside Calgary either and my MX-3 has it's engine on the stand. I'll be driving the winter beater, mwaa haa haa haa! Yes, Jesse, bring the CX7. I wouldn't mind getting a better look at it this time. Tracy and I are very jealous.

it may not be too prety cause i broke it (just some dammage to the lower vailance from ice and guardrail making my day shitty), but i will hopefully be getting it fixed before then so you should not even see a difference

I'm in. If it's food, I'll find something I like. If it's in (or out of) the city, I drive. I haven't had good sushi in a while so I guess my vote would be for that. Or "Burned Butter a la Homer" at the Ol' Spag Factory. That's a favorite too!
