What engine?
What engine?
I have a 92 MX-3 1.8 5 spd. It has 230k and the motor is starting to use a lot of oil. Valve seals I think. Anyway other than putting in a stock 1.8 what is a good motor to "drop in". I need to be able to do this in a weekend without a lot of extra parts or fabbing stuff. I read about a mazda 2.5 dropping in. What years would work best? And of course increased HP is always a bonus.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!
