323/gtx tranny

Post by lv2xlr8 »

I hope noone thinks that this is a dumb question, cause I kinda feel dumb asking it.

I've been looking at BP-T swaps for sell online and have noticed that every one sold comes with an awd tranny. Is there any possible way to use the rearrend out af an awd car on an mx-3 to make it awd? And if not what would be the best mtx to use?

p.s. Don't make fun of me too much please.

the members who give you crap about it are ignorant. the AWD swap isn't easy, it is very time consuming and hard work (mostly because of strengthening up the rear end) i am about 40% done with my Bp and AWD swap and it is going to be amazing... all i will say is only attempt this if you have another car you can drive while doing this cause it will take a while to source all the parts and do all the work. as to cost i really don't think it is that expensive for what you are getting out of it

can you use the awd tranny and just not hook up the rear end part just use the front wheel drive?

Look up the term "differential" - if you dont connect the front wheel drive it will just spin faster and your back wheels wont rotate at all.

Thanks for not giving me crap about it. It just seemed to me that an awd mx3 would be a beast.
