hmm quite interesting...

k8 ecu times

16.08
16.10

klde ecu times

15.5
15.8

16.0 (span out on the tires)

Im still learning on how to launch... its kinda not bad for a ze with the wrong ecu, bad engine mounts, failing alternator , fan wires directly via switch.

the sad part is that nobody wanted to race..i ran against a miata and won by like 3 car lenghts. An acura integra around 4 car lenghts.

A "vtec" civic did not wish to race me, a tiburon was slower than me. Most cars where. Remember we are at 3000 feet or higher.

The only faster cars where camaros , one 13 sec prelude.

Nice run, on the way home my alternator began to fail... millenia alternator time.

I cant wait to get the probinator ecu and my engine mounts, that should bump me to low 15 high 14. Oh and i need tires.. the ones i got are street and worn out btw.. i lost a good half a second spinning out in 1st and second.

Ok i went again today ( sunday) No times on sundays.

IMO i had very nice runs.. no traction. Ill post the video tomorrow.

VS.

Acura integra, i win by 3 car lenghts.

Honda civic non v tech, I win by around hmm 5 car lenghts.

V6 Tiburon , I win by 3 car lenghts.

Cobalt SS , I lost by a car lenght.

Same story.. nobody wanted to race. A white eclipse 2.2 with nitrous didnt wanna race without it. "uh my clutch is slipping"

Focus didnt wanna race, neither did cavaliers.
Sentra type r .. also scared.

Some people came up to me and sayd they were impressed and what i had done to the car.

Ill u tube the video tomorrow.

The night ended like at 11pm when the idler pulley for power steering fell out.

Outside temp 55 degrees and the belt was still spinning water pump sorta. Drove home WITHOUT overheating. I got the pulley at home tho. I may remove power steering. It drives fine without it.

You say thats not too abd for the wrong ecu. ya its not too abd at all. But you can do much better. My best is 14.9 with a k8 ecu and stock intake. NO CAI. I ahve oen now but havn't been back yet.
Figure out how to launch your car and keep tryinga nd you will get some nice times.

tires to come soon.. i checked the dyno and im about what an average ze would be with my mods.

162 whp that was with regular gas. This engine needs premium. feels more peppier with premium. Ill change timing belt and tires. TIRES are what mess me up and bad driving. Altitude has some to do with it.

its not bad considering ur altitude. good times. I beat a cobalt ss in my ZE NA mx3...but i was gutted.
