Short shifter

How exactly is the shifter put in...because i had mine randomly break loose and fell down and was resting on my exhaust. I am thinking about getting

for my car but i dont know if it will fit correctly. anybody know if it would?

This is acctually a common issue on our cars, if you do a search on the site I bet you will find tons of info relating to this.

you buy an anti drop shifter bracket. look for the thread on the guy who sells them.

Or you can buy the whole shifting mech for about 170 us.
