Seat belt

The drivers side cable for the seat belt is almost completely eaten trrough from the cable lock on the belt. Does anyone know where i can find a new cable for the seat belt? Is it possible that i can just replace it with a cable from the hardware store? Thanks

I had a problem just like that on my '93. All I did was print out the Recall form from here and went to Mazda for a free replacement. Didn't pay a dime but got worked on the purchase of Door electronics for the window.

Printed it out from the main Page. Good luck with everything. They should give you no problems on your request.

mine has done the same thing. I called mazda and they are sending the parts but will not pay for labor. Good luck. If you get the labor payed for shoot me a pm.

the cable had came out of the track several times, and the parts arent ahrd to replace, so it wont be hard , i just need them.
