i jsut bought a new cv joint for my 96 man trans Gs. (passenger side)
When i installed it onto the inside joint shaft... they dont fit togehter right, it goes all the way in, but the inside joint shaft looks to be wore down....so there is some movment in the meeting...
the intermdiate shaft bearing is good, so all I need is the inside cv axle(joint shaft), but the store i bought the cv joint from said i was foolish..
They said they never heard of a car with two drive shafts on the one side...dam you mazda!
so question....

1--is the joint shaft the same as the drivers side cv joint?

2--or what do i ask for when i order the inside joint shaft?

3--if i need to, can i buy the long single axle that the 92-93 mx3s use? will it fit?

No you need the V6 parts.
Are you talking about the jack shaft, also known as the half shaft or joint shaft as Mazda calls it? If you truely need the shaft itself and not the bearing and bracket, Mazda charges about 300 for just the shaft from what I can tell. Better to try and get one from a junk car.
