Yes. I run 2 amps in my car and 12" Kicker Solobarics on the stock amp and a regular battery.

Its not the wattage you have to worry about, its the ampage draw causing a voltage drop which means more amps an more heat , which will burn things out if the fuses dont blow

Divide the RMS power rating of the amplifier by the amount of voltage your car's electrical system will produce — RMS/Voltage = Current Draw

however : 600w in your average car amplifier is not *anything* like 600 actual honest god electrical watts. If you amp actully puts out 600 watts with no distortion I will eat my hat.

They use something called class D ampification which is extremely efficient but priduces more of a square wave than a real sine wave.

So realisticly you are looking at more like 250 watts real power.

So with an average bass cone having an efficiency of 90db at 1w 1 meter, and power requirements doubling for every 3 db, 250 watts will give you :

93 = 2 watts
96 = 4
99 = 8
102 = 16
105 = 32
108 = 44
112 = 128
115 = 254 watts

115 db of bass should be enough.
