Hi, am I correct in thinking to change the transmission fluid on the autozam 1.5 auto mx-3 there's a drain bolt near the engine oil drain plug? and the new fluid goes into where you check the fluid level? Any ideas what the drain plug by the small sump is for? (front right as you look at the engine) Cheers.

Usually you pull the pan, change the filter and the seal, bolt it back in, and fill it where the fluid dipstick goes.

Cheers, so whats the drain bolt for then? is the 3rd drain bolt connected to that too? it has a long spring inside the 3rd drain bolt if that helps at all? Only a small amount of fluid came out of there. Bear in mind it's an import and the engine is totally different from the 1.6 shown in the online workshop manual.
