Wow, I never knew these engines could even be considered that well engineered to take that much power

I am really surprised these engine can even handle that amount of power
I thought they would be like the V8 engines in the Mustang 5.0s or the V6 3.6L engines in the V6 Mustangs

guess I was wrong

And to get it up to 800-1000 whp makes it no longer a klze, those motors have major work on them to make them handle that much power

so if a klze is making 800hp, does that mean it's no longer 2.5 liters? By boring an engine, does that change the liter capacity?

and what exactly is the liter measurement referring to when it comes to engines? how much hollow space in the cylinders? how much engine oil can circulate in the engine? (i'm an engine newb, but this would be of interest to all other engine newbs)

no matter how much work is done, it`s still a KL block and ZE heads and cams.

Either way it`s really impressive :)
Wonder how reliable that engine is.

anyone know more about this Mazda 626 MPS concept car revealed in Geneva 2000? ... its klze looks flawless, has the new mazda logo on it, and is "bi-turbo" ... but did this car even get mass produced or any of its engines left on jdm yards?
