well.. from what little i've been able to find, this is related to my car non starting problem.

i took a test light to every fuse and found that the ten amp fuse in the engine bay labelled 'st sign' is not getting any current. the fuse is fine, and been swapped for good measure, but there is no current going into it. ie, after switching out the fuse, my test light still doesn't go off.

so can someone tell me what the st sign fuse is for, and how i might go about figuring out where the problem is?

*** ok i found that it's for the starter signal. but why no current?

It only gets power while the engine is cranking. See here
