I was thinking about getting that same turbo for the ZE cause my .48 t3 is to small. : ) its either gonna be that turbo or the 60-1.

Uhh i dont think so. He is saying he has a N/A BP Intake Manifold.
That Turbo Manifold looks custom. The Miata ones dont come that far away from the head if I remember correctly, not to mention they place the turbo a bit higher in the engine bay.

ok. it is a miata turbo manifold. assuming that you use a standard t3 turbo, it will fit with only one mod. you have to notch the power steering pump bracket. the only reason i had to use a civic radiator in this setup is because the larger t3/t4 doesn't clear the radiator.

your my hero... so what about the 1.6l (which i assume you had first?)
would a b6 miata manifold fit it.. I mean if your not having hood clearance issues then i shouldn't if i drop the front engine mount a 1/2 inch..

Looks good, but I don't see how that crappy little radiator is going to keep things cool with the hot side of the turbo right next to it, and the fact that it is about half the size of the stock one. I would suggest an upgraded radiator and fan and wrap the downpipe. my .02
Looks good though and should give the 4 banger guys some good ideas since the parts used are widely available.

B18c civics (the Type-R motor) run with turbo setups on 1/2 a rad...
An upgraded doublethick civic rad and a full heatshield would lower your engine temps and your hood's temperature...
Question: Turbo being mounted up isn't the hood going to get hot.. .Like paint bubblingly hot...????

dont think so, us v6 guys have it mounted like pretty close to the hood...i have not had bubbling yet....or fading.
