Ok I need some help....

I want to find my old MX-3 b/c I miss her. I need help from you guys in hoping tha one of you own it, or have seen it.

VIN: JM1EC4346N0130956

Blaze red, Mazdaspeed decal over the hood and front fendor...I stuffed an Mx-6 2.5L V6 into it. Just want to know if she is still alive an well.

Any help, I would appreciate it. Does anyone know how to look up cars to find current owners?

Even interested in buying it back.

you could try advertizing on milk cartons.






really though, all you have to do is go to your DOL or state and they can look up the owner of it.

I'm not sure of the proper name but I used it once when tracking down history and service/accident info when I purchased my Protege'. I think all you need is the VIN number which you already have. Trouble is is that there's a niminal fee for that info. Not sure if the name is Carfax or not. try google used car or "vehicle history"

well i wish u luck because as far as i know in canada or alberta anyways little thing called privacy act... when i was buying my car the dealerships wont release any information whatsoever regarding the previous owner of the car... carfax will not give u any information on the owners.. only where it has been registered and if its been reported in any accidents...

It's gone man, move on.

my old mx-3 was supposed to have been totalled. I saw it parked. looks like some kid had bought it and rebuilt it. had over 300,000km. I was considering buying it back but then i didnt bother.

Wow, that's someone who I haven't seen online in a long time. I don't remember why you disapeared/left, but It wasn't long after I joined and I don't believe we ever met...it's cool to see your still around. Good luck on finding your car.

Goto the DMV and ask about getting information for license plate numbers...
They usually can give that to you (oddly)...

If he hasn't changed the plates you should find someone...

If not tell them your situation and hope for the best...you have the VIN so they're literally a few clicks away from the current owner...

I used this service before (I DID get an address as I recall back in early 90s) to buy an apparently abandonned VW van for $50. Ha ha, should have saved my money. BUT I got $35 from the wrecker for the van and a bug!

Yea just go to the Ministry of Transportation or one of their Kiosks (might be easier and faster if you go to the Kiosk).

Order a User Car information package, its like $20, you just enter the VIN and it will show you the current owner plus other information about the car.

BTW, the last time I saw your car was at Canadian Tire by Queensway (near Sherway) that was a few years ago, the owner at the time worked at Crappy Tire there for a while. I think it got resold to a dealer later on because I seem to recall it showing up in the Autotrader at one point.
