just wondering if its just me.. but one day i went to get in the car in a hurry. Jumped in and grabbed the top of the door to close it once.. didn't quite get my hand out of the way in time and managed to shut the door on my fingers.. hurt with a surprise i guess , odd thing was that the door actually locked and put me in more shock as it took more time to hit me that i couldn't just pull fingers out but i had to open the door with my other hand..... just wondering...

lol my frind did that inside my window and i closed hte window on him lol

i did that in the trunk of a tempo, grabed it by the rear emblem to slam it and my hand slipped getting crushed, i could not get the trunk open, as soon as i got my hand free my fingers got about three times bigger.

i've done it on my mx cept i was outside of the car. hurt like hell and my finger swelled

haha, great stories, but we all learn lessons. i made a goal to make sure i close any door for the rest of my life without catching a body part in it.

lol.. reminds me of this time my brother slammed the door on my hand. the door latched then, and he was just so shocked and horrified that he just stood there and i had to open the door myself.

i think that was what pissed me off the most -- not the smashing my hand, but the just the stupid deer-in-headlights reaction -->

I had the same thing happen to me about 5 years ago, me and a friend got a ride from his mom in a corsica. i was getting out of the back seat and for some reason grabbed the front door frame. My buddy closed the door and it latched. 3 seconds later he turned around and asked if i was going to get out .

I told him i would if i could reach the latch

I've had my head slammed in a car door. Fortunately for me, I was already unconscious. I didn't know at the time and woke up with a killer headache in the hospital. My brother fessed up to it years later, btw...

and i slamed the door on my moms fingers a couple years ago. Didn't hurt aparently.

Well one day I took my Grandma home in my MX and then I rolled up the windows and I didin't know her fingers was rolled up with the window until she said= "My finger!" She just kept saying ouch ouch ouch ouch! I couldn't tell what was going on I thought she was having a heart attack or somethin' .

This should be a sticky lol. Warn people of the threat the mx-3 poses to our precious hands.

its very very common for my passengers to hit their heads getting in/ out its always a good laugh
