engine cutting out on hard right turns

I have this really annoying problem that has become serious in the past few days. Basically whenever i do a hard right turn and press the gas pedal - the engine cuts out and bogs like the ignition has been turned off. After 10-20 seconds of coasting it comes back to life and starts pulling. It used to be just a slight dip on right turns - now its full blown bogging for a longer period of time. It doesnt do that on left turns (confirmed). It doesnt do that if the gas pedal is not pushed. It does that on hard right turns only with the gas pedal pushed in a bit.
I tried to troubleshoot it as an electrical problem (loose connections) but everything seems fine. Besides if it was loose connection it should probably do the same at every bump and turn.
I did an amatuer power steering flush yesterday - basically drained everything and refilled it. That hasnt solved the problem either. However i might have overfilled the reservoir because i see fluid all around the outside of the resevoir.
I also thought it could be a gas tank problem - like the gas is moving away from the pump during turns. But the gas in the system (lines, filter etc) should support the engine even if the pump is not getting gas. Also the bogging would happen on any turns not just right turn (since the pump is in the middle).
Anybody have any ideas as to how i could drive this ghost out of my engine?
