Quick Mx-6 Tranny Question...

Was talking to another Mx-3'er about swapping in a Mx-6 tranny. I was fairly sure it was just pop-in and go, but he was saying that there's an issue with the axles. I know there's issues with the Mx-6 LSD tranny, but I want to know about the regular one. I just want to get clarification.

And our Mx-3 axles fit fine? There's no spline difference either?

Same tranny except gear ratios. mx3,mx6,626,probe. There all interchangable.

That doesn't make sence, they both have a 4.38:1 final drive

I swapped an mx6 transaxle in last weekend. No problems really. Just swap the sensors. Axles fit perfectly fine.
