Fuel pump replacement

OK, the car would not start and I traced the problem to a bad fuel pump ( no continuity between leads, 12V to connector at pump ).
I seem to remember seeing some posts about aftermarket replacement options over the stocker but could not find anything using search.
Any help or suggestions is appreciated!

RX-7 fuel pumps are almost a direct replacement. You can also use a Walbro as a replacement too, but any upgrade is unecssary unless you have some decent power adders.

I had a problem not long after I got my car every time I turned a right hand corner the engine would just stop.Tracked it down to a faulty fuel pump, fitted a after market "cooper" fuel pump and have not had a problem since the only thing I changed was I did not use the spring clamps I used hose clamps instead..
Hope this helps.

Thanks folks, hopefully I will be up and running today.
Since I am contemplating a KLZE upgrade I might just go ahead and install the Walbro altho the swap is quite easy for future reference....

A ZE will work on a stock type/flow pump. Just trying to save you some $.

Cool, definitely appreciate the advice.
I got the F/I bug a few years back and since base my decisions on future mods, not the present ( I blew a few pistons in my Dodge truck running lean ).
I am gonna go stock for now since the pump is so easy to replace in these cars and high flow later if installing a turbo.
