Tinted Glass Windows?

Is it possible to get windows that are tinted INSIDE the glass? Kinda like factory tinted windows, not the film stuff. TIA.

what do you mean inside the windows?? window tint film goes on the inside of the car!!!

i know what your talkin about, its called brauns laminant safety glass, i had it in my last car(check out my page), 1967 Chevy II Wagon, every single window was black. The thing is though that its sold in flat 4 foot by 6 foot sheets because its 2 pieces of safety glass with tint pressed inbetween. in my old car every window was flat and square so it was a simple swap of taking the old glass out and putting the new glass in, unlike the back window of a mx3. the back window isnt doable but the side windows might be, if there not curved at all, which they might be, im not sure, ive never paid attention before. hope this helps

<B>Weasel</B>: Tint sandwiched between two pieces of glass? Is that how it works?? I was thinking more along the lines of "tinted glass," as in instead of clear glass, the glass is already tinted.
