airplane meet

Post by fieromx3 »

ive been thinking bout this for quite some time but never thought it would work out.

i was thinking of gathering the mx3 club and bringing them to breslau airport here in waterloo and going up for a flight in a small airplane! you have a choice of 30min or 1hr flights or more OR take flights to niagra falls or the cn tower etc. the planes carry a max of 3 ppl(ecluding pilot) if you choose the the cessna c-172 OR 1 person if you choose the katana DA-20(the best most fun plane) the pricing is here
http://www.nationalflyers.on.ca/ - go to costs and scroll down. since 3 ppl can fit i was thinking of those 3 split the cost of the flight.

for pix of the plane and all the specs go to aircraft on the left and click cessna c-172.

im only gauging interest and if ppl are interested we can do this later on fpr time to save some money. its not cheap but its definitly worth the money.

also if you are in the front seat you do get to fly the airplane! ive been up myself a few times and they did let me taxi the plane take off and land! its really fun!

i just thought this would be a meet that was never done (that i know of) and i know everyone would enjoy it and wont forget.

whos interested?

That's cool, kinda interesting...

On a similar note, it was suggested by someone, last year or the year before, to go skydiving.

i looked into skydiving, but if you have no training its very expensive and you have to jump strapped to an instructor :? i'll pass.

the best option is fieros idea, then just whip the door open and go for a leap unexpectedly
