Does anyone know if a Distributor from a Probe v6 stated to be over 200 HP work in a MX3 standard K8 v6 engine. I have an oppotunity to buy
one cheap as a spare, just in case mine goes bad , but I don't know if it will fit my MX3 V6.

THE distys from 93 and up probe GT's will work...you dont get any more pwoer from it. I alwasy order the probe ones from advance cause there cheaper then the mx3 ones.
