I found some zx2 struts for sale. Guys says they are labeled Springtech, they are made in the USA and have the part number 747335 and 747336
Would these work on mx3? are they any good?

There is a difference between ZX2 and ZX2 S/R. The ZX2 would be run of the mill OEM struts. (sounds like what you found)
The ZX2 S/R's are made by Tokico for Ford Racing and are high perforamnce struts.
