How about the fact that one of the two Audi's had problems and didn't make it to the staging line in time and had to start last and come out the pit lane. It took him jsut over 30 minutes to pass all other cars and gain 2nd behind the other Audi...
WTH, does that seem like a car that ANYONE can compete with???
Did anyone see the Audi do a donought b/c they have 800ft/lbs of torque and haven't finished designing the traction controll, so it is not installed yet... WTH
Did anyone hear that the motors are so quite that the spectators hear more of the motor than the driver can. Also, if you've ever seen the R8s race all you could hear of them was the rushing wind being pushed out of the way. (stupid wierd) WTH, how do you drive a car that you cannot even hear
Did you hear that the Audi's get a ton more MPG than the other cars do, also the ALMS officials let them open up the fuel delivery valve on the refuel can b/c the diesel flows more slowly. WTH, shouldn't that be a downsid to the extra MPG that they get??!! (a slightly longer pit time shouldn't hurt them too badly)
Also, how can Audi get a V10 twin turbo and all Sports Book can put in their Mazda powered car is a NA twin rotor> WTH, how will a rotary ever be competative with that. (although they are in different classes, I could name numerous other LMP2s with much more powerful power plants)
To be honest the only class worth watching were the GT1s with the Vettes and Astin Martins.
