I curently have the stock intake on my mx and I need a new air filter. I was wondering if it would benifit me more to go out and get an OEM replacement or get a cone filter and attach it to my Mass Air. Im not sure because of the heat issues and such.

you do benefit by putting a cone filter on ur maf but u do benefit more by putting the filter where it gets cold air. IMO it helps more over the stock intake... as it did with my car

do cone filter and then get an exhaust and you'll get some improvements. If your car is taking in more air but can't get it out fast enough it wont do you any good.

I'm using an cone air filter with an Honda Crx modified Intake.

For this you have to put the batterie (right in english?) in front of the gearbox. There is enough place for this.

So you do not have such an high angle, ant the air can flow easier into the Motor.

I hope you could understand me

go to home depot and make one from PVC piping and rubber couplers. Easy and cheap
