Hello ppl, Im planning on dynamating my most of my car like the inside of both doors, the floors and trunk but i have a few questions. I took a test drive on the highway yesterday just to figure out where most of the bothersom noise's where coming from, i noticed that most of the noise was coming from the muffler which will be solved by dynamating the hatch, and a silencer for the muffler. The only problems is with the Mx-3 when your in 5th gear at 65 your running around 3,000 RPM or if you like me and normally drive 75 or 80 MPH its around 4,000 Rpm , Question is where is the best Place to put dynamat in the engine conpartment? on the hood or use spray on sound deadner on the firewall. Im trying to figure out where most of the engine noise comes from or travles through. Any help would be greatly Appresheaded. ''cant spell''

i'm not sure how these things normally work, but i think the firewall would be your best bet, underhood temperatures are high enough as is, i don't think insulation would be a good idea!
