Floor Covering Removal

Hi all, this is my first time, so be gentle. ; )
I'm debating trying to remove the floor covering that's currently in my 95 1.6, as it's in less then stallat condition. I haven't see any posts about it, and I'd love to get some feedback as to the general difficulty level. Is it a snap to do once I've got the seats out, or is it one of those pain in the derrier jobs that looks easy but then stretches into a 2 day debacle of swearing, perspiration, beer, tears, and regret?
As well, is there anywhere that anyone knows of OTHER than a wrecker to find replacement material? I'm lucky in that I have a pretty good model that I can strip from here in Guelph, Ont, but I'd rather put in new.
Thanks in Advance!

As well, sorry if this is in the wrong section - this seemed to be the most appopriate.
