Converting Mazda badge on the bonnet?????

Post by STAINLESS STEEL »

I'm wanting to change the Mazda badge on the bonnet of the MX-3, from the old curved shaped one to the most modern one.

I heard you can get it off a Mazda Miata, so it fits perfectly over the holes.

What model and mark would I get it from?

If anyone's done this or got information on it. And if you've got pictures of converted badges, please post.

Guess the best idea is to just have a quick measure up!

If you dont want any badge at all, get some gripfill/tigerseal, a 5p coin and bond the 5p to the underside of the bonnet. All you have to do is carefully fill the holes, just so the filler sits a lil bit proud, then lightly sand the filler without hitting the paint, and just touch it up. It just looks like you have a touched up stone chip in your bonnet!

Chepa easy way of making a smooth bonnet! :)
