2 years ago it was me, Oscar and Melissa. Last year it was Oscar and I have no idea who else. I had too much going on to help, but this year I think I'll definitely get involved...lets try to make this one a good once (pending on weather of course)

it was an awsome meet that was the very first meet i went to but i still didnt know about the forums then lol i hope its as big this year then it was last time. since i only stayed an hour what did u guys do for the meets? do you go for one huge a-- cruise or anything?
It should be organized way in advanced, last minute planning is never good. I organized the 2003 6th Annual Meet, its a lot of work, not something I personally would ever take on again, despite 30+ cars showing up people were still b----ing at me how it was organized and such.
What do you guys do at the meets?
Iv never gone to one since this is my first car, but Id love to go to this once if all of you dont mind a newbe. haha

Everyone has been a newbie at some point...and the annual meet is a great way of meeting people. Typically we all simply meet up and shoot the breeze. But who knows this time around we may some different stuff planned out.

Ya, we should kick it up a notch this year. Get a good BBQ going. A cruise would be nice, something like Ottawa, but it's all city driving and would be just frustrating and we'd loose people along the way. We could maybe have a race session at Formula Kartways. Would give something to do, let the ego's clash on the track

Personally I would like to be in charge of the BBQ, but the problem is bringing all that equipment in my tiny Mx-3. We did the small BBQ the one year, but it had a hard time as soon as there was wind, and if we organise this properly, it won't be big enough, and the Mx-3 can't fit bigger, plus if all goes well and I get the interior finished, I wouldn't want to risk damaging it. I could easilly use the 626, but that means my Mx-3 wouldn't be at the meet, and the same problem would go for anyone wanting to attend. The only way I can see this working if things go as planned and I get a job that gives me weekends off, I'm buying a truck. With the truck (Actually my dad wants to go half and half), I can buy/rent/borrow a trailer to tow the Mx-3, and put everything I need i the truck. I got half a year, hopefully this will work.
I'll jinx it right now to say that since we're trying to plan this way ahead, the weather is going to suck and the meet will be ruined.

Good point..but remember when we did the BBQ at David's house..and Ian brought that little BBQ? That seemed to have worked out pretty well for the group of people that came.
Besides if we can get a couple of those small ones going we should be pretty ok.
