Where is the thermostat located in my engine?????

Im changing the thermostat on my car but i dont know where its located at! Does anyone know???

Follow the lower rad hose up and its where the pipe bolts on.

No,

Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the junction
that run's through the valley of the block, undo the two bolts at
the junction where the radiator hose goes to and volia the
thermostat is in there.

Can supply a pic if needed.

Hope these shed some light on the subject, the green arrows
indicate the two bolts to be removed from the housing to get
to the thermostat.

the rare and very photo shy kiwi, only found in shed's with cool
toys to play with and of course partys with good chip dip.

Amber, that part that Matt gave you a pic of resides part way between the distributer and the throttlebody and down a little. Once you're looking in the general vicinity, you can't miss it with the 1 large coolant hoses going to the front of it and 3 smaller ones from the rear. You'll have to remove the accordian type rubber intake tube to get at it better.

Heh, No john that little fella lives in my camera bag
and has seen a lot of the world and appears in a lot
of photos of famous places and peaple....

When you squese him he play's the kiwi call too...
