Rear Drums

Ok, Im having a problem,, The screws that hold my rear drums on will not come out,, Ive tryed everything,, Is it ok to drill the screws out, and just use the rims being on the car to hold the drum on ????/ Please Help

Yes, you can. Most people leave them out. Have you tried some of that bolt loosener spray? I know I've drilled one of those screws out before. Go ahead and do that.

You need an "impacter" screwdriver. They have a screwdriver tip and you can hit the other end with a hammer. As you hit them, they twist at the same time loosening the screw. You can get them through an auto parts store or the Sears auto department.

Isn't there a kind of extra screw hole that you can use to help loosen the drum? What size is that anyway?

There is but most of the time you can hit the face of the drum with a hammer and it will come right off.
