here in holland are 2 guys busy with a big brake kit for the mx-3!

Has anyone tried adapting a honda civic kit? Same bolt pattern. Rafi @ RR is pretty much all probe/mx6 stuff. Those are all 5 lug cars.

I think a Protoge kit would be close. Or maybe Miata kits. Miata's use a very similar disc, but I don't think I've ever examined exactly how their brakes are set on the spindle.

CorkSport's is expensive, but no more expensive than any other big brake conversion kit.

well theyre out there for 1200-1500 bucks but I would like to see something in $500 range

Mine's got Astina V6 brakes with Pagid pads, it's possible to lock the fronts at 100mph! And I can still run 15" rims.

I don't know why BB are so expensive. I think the only tricky part of making your own is getting the mounting bracket right. Everything else should just fall into place.

I can get kit for my Charger that was drums, and what I am getting is changing front drums to discs and getting large rotors/calipers for $650, try that for mazda or any new car. Oh ya thats wilwood kit too not junk yard kit

Luke St. Pier (SRD owner and genious) was working on a new set for the MX. Maybe if we all send him a email he'll actually make them for the public. He has some on his race MX-3 now and has told me that he is tesing them for future sales...

I wash looking at using the 4 Pot ones from a 3rd gen RX7. They would be neat to use...
