Few game modes included, Cop chases are insane, upto 7 cops chasing you, and that doesn't include road blocks and SUV's trying to hit you head on. The cops try to matching you move for move, actually keep up really well, organise stratagies, try to pit you, box you in. Cops will actually close gaps in roadblocks when they see you aiming for one. Evnetually they try doubling up to make it harder to crash through. Cop chatter is extremely realistic, I love this one "He's back on the golf course, he's tearing up the greens." You car displays some damage but the car's performance does not get affected. Police cars do show alot of damage.

Tracks are very nostialgic, open city like Underground 2, but the highways are familiar to Porsche Unleased, the forest area to High Stakes and country roads to Hot Pursuit 2.

Great game, it's definitely a must try, and for me, must buy

I just installed the game...

Its got good intentions but runs like a-- on my machine.

Makes me sad... I've been playin Quake4 and COD2 withouth problems but the engine for this game just itsnt cuttin it...

AMD Athlon -b 2000 overclocked to 2.1GHz
768 RAM 266FSB(gave a 256 to my dad )
GeForce 4 Ti 4200 64mb 4xAGP (got it when they first came out)

Its fairly playable, maybe I should put the seetings down? When it does run clean its real fun. Theres the refillabe NOS SuperReaction time slowerdowner thing (good for on comming traffic) and it seems to have a good story to it.

I'd say 3 outa 5 but im sure if my machine was up to par or their 3d engine was a little cleaner it'd be a 4 or 5 outa 5

you got enough ram, but it think its just your CPU is alittle old. Time for a new one. Turn ur settings down. Also a 64mb video card might be holding you back abit.

yeah I went in and turned off the glare effects and dropped it back down to 640x480 and its runs fine!

My thoughts on NFSMW are.

Its the nicest looking! But for some reason the game itself just doesnt really get to me.

My favorite NFS has to be High Stakes.

I'll play it until i beat it, than it'll collect dust on my shelf.
