Yup, like it says I dyno'd the new turbo kit. Got it first running last week, and the tranny broke. Clutch wouldnt disengage. Had to pull everything back apart, found a broken clutch release pivot ball.

Got it all back together last night, did some rough fuel tuning.

On 15 psi and 91 octane pump gas off the chart rich it made those numbers.

There's a lot of room to improve, and this is still on a stock junkyard KL with 150k miles! My 2.6L build should be done in a few months, and next year is a new story. Ill post up a chart as soon as I have a chance to scan it.

Honestly, I dont know what Im doing with this car anymore. even in a 3rd gear roll I can light the tires up at 70 mph. It gives me butterflies in my stomach all over again, makes it all worth the time but I think Im gonna kill myself with it.

Heres a vid of the speedo we made today. 40-100 mph roll and 14 psi boost.

Stock suspension and brakes do not suffice. LOL

Maybe, maybe not. I pushed 18 psi on my old turbo and it didnt even compare.

My HY35 bitchslaps a T04E, but his new GT garrett will really put out the numbers.

In any case, I've got some work to do. I only want 450 hp. This isnt a race car by any means, just a toy. I love it though :) Any more power than it has is worthless. On the street I spin in 3rd. I wont even hit boost in 2nd or 1st anymore, its pointless. Torque steer pulls the car all over the place and its actually pretty scary.

As for the vid, I dont have a way to convert it. My apologies.

wow!

My question is if you put a lsd in and made some suspension mods like most guys do(nothing crazy), then got some great high performance summer tires on there would you still spin thru each gear. The reason i ask is because other wise whats the fun in keeping it at that high of psi. Im concidering getting into the group buy for turbo kit, but i already break loose in 2nd with my DE n no lsd so if i cant hook up i wont even bother with the investment.

looks like a lot of fun though

I am using megasquirt'n'spark.

Now would be the time to upgrade the suspension/brakes/tires.

I still want to use 5 lug brakes from a 2G PGT. Or maybe even a 2G RX7. I KNOW there is a GLC with this swap done. I'd love info.

Otherwise, I can maybe have the rotors redrilled for the 4 lug, then make brackets to use the calipers.

I just like the idea of 5 lug, I want some stock 2G PGT 5 spokes on this thing :(

Just realized I also uploaded the wrong video. We have the dyno runs on vid but theyre blurry and no sound (digital camera) so I didnt bother to share them. I want to get that speedometer video up though. Its on my friends computer so maybe I can do it soon.

With proper tires I think I can get a lot better traction. I still am toying with the idea of using 84-85 mustang GT traction bars adapted to work for FWD.

I can only imagine how scary that is. With 210whp my torque steer is pretty bad. In 2nd I spin and if the road is wet even a little a spin a little when I drop down to third. But ya, I think you should look into converting the 3 to RWD a RX7 rear
