KL ZE boost question involeing an FMU ratio.

Post by XxantwawnxX »

Ok i did a search on FMU and (on other combo's of words) and did nto find anything.

Sooner or later i plan on boosting my ZE with a T3 turbo . IM only planing on running 5-6 psi.

I would like to know what FMU would i need 8:1 10:1 or 12:1? As i dont want to run lean on boost.

I plan on keeping my stock fpr for idle regulation, is this wise or should i get an adjustable fpr?

Im running a 3rd gen rx7 pump and stock injectors

any info on this would be helpful, thank you.

Oh and i relativly new to forced induction, although i know alot (or i think i do) So if anything i wrote seems wrong, dont be to harsh. I might not know what im talking about : P

most people use the 8:1 or 10:1 ratio
Another option would use the cartech fmu wich alows you to use the ratio you want by turning a knob

I also highley suggest a Wideband o2.
There not cheap but well worth it in the long run.
